Y-Pattern Type Globe Valve
The valve stem has a unique 45° tilted design compared to the other two stem vertical pipe designs. Compared to the other two designs, when fully open, the flow of media is straight, so the pressure drop is lower. The Y style is more common in applications where dirt removal or prolonged period of open valves are needed.
