Trunnion Ball Valve

The trunnion ball valve has the design of dual blocking and discharge services, as both upstream and downstream valve seats float independently. The trunnion design usually uses a valve seat lubrication port, and lubricant can be injected around the valve seat to help with the closing effect. The trunnion ball valve has low fluid resistance and will not get stuck during operation (in the absence of lubricants), making them reliable for use in corrosive media and low boiling liquids.
