Low Temperature Globe Valve
Precision in Cryogenics
Introducing Low-Temperature Globe Valves by Lipin
Low temperature globe valves usually operate at temperatures below -110 ℃. Lipin can manufacture low-temperature globe valves suitable for temperatures up to -196 ℃. All parts are treated with liquid nitrogen for low-temperature pretreatment, completely avoiding sealing deformation and leakage during use. Low temperature globe valves are suitable for the management system of low-temperature liquid storage and transportation (such as tank trucks or LNG stations), and can also be used for low-temperature and cryogenic medium equipment.

Why Choose Lipin Low-Temperature Globe Valves

Lipin's low-temperature globe valve is designed with novel sealing form and reliable sealing structure, which successfully solves the problems of poor corrosion resistance, easy perforation of shell, poor sealing performance and easy leakage of common valves used in chemical pipelines.
  • Rich variety
Lipin can produce short axis low-temperature globe valves, long axis low-temperature globe valves, flange low-temperature globe valves, long rod low-temperature flange globe valves, etc.
  • Material diversity
Lipin not only offers traditional carbon steel, but also avant-garde materials such as chromium nickel iron alloy and Monel alloy for you to choose from. These materials have anti-corrosion properties and can be used in extreme environments and extremely low temperatures.
  • Wide application
In industries such as LNG, petroleum, and petrochemicals, Lipin's low temperature globe valves can be found, and they perfectly adapt to various environments.
  • Adhere to high-quality
Whether it is the selection of materials or the process, Lipin chooses and adheres to the best standard, and strictly controls every aspect of production.
  • Operation selection
Combining manual, pneumatic, electric, hydraulic operation and valve to achieve fast response and high-precision control.

Key Components of Low-Temperature Globe Valves

The low-temperature globe valve mainly consists of the following six parts. This component ensures that the globe valve remains efficient and stable during operation and maintains a zero leakage record.
  • Valve Body
    Channels the fluid's path.
  • Disc
    Adjusts fluid flow by positioning.
  • Stem
    Facilitates valve operation.
  • Actuator
    Oversees the valve's movement.
  • Metal Seals
    Guarantee tight sealing.
  • Bonnet
Encloses and protects the valve internals.
  • Advantages of

    Low-Temperature Globe Valves

    • 01
      Corrosion resistance
Lipin has upgraded the material of low-temperature globe valves, and adopted materials with stronger corrosion resistance according to the specific characteristics of the medium, to resist liquid ammonia corrosion and avoid the poor corrosion resistance of ordinary valves.
    • 02
      Good sealing performance
Once the low-temperature globe valve is opening, there is no contact between its seat and the sealing surface of the valve disc anymore, so its sealing surface has less mechanical wear.
    • 03
      Low torque design
The valve stem is customized with a multi-layer structure, which can be easily opened by matching with the valve.
    • 04
      Wear resistance
The sealing surfaces of the valve seat and piston valve are all made of plasma sprayed or welded cobalt chromium hard alloy cutting tools. The raw material of the valve stem is high-frequency quenched steel. The valve stem has high hardness after nitriding treatment, and the sealing surface has high hardness, wear resistance, abrasion resistance, and durability.
    • 05
      Low temperature resistance
Low temperature globe valves are suitable for the management system of low-temperature liquid storage and transportation equipment, with the characteristics of flexible and reliable sealing of switches. They can also be used for other management systems of low-temperature and cryogenic media, and can adapt to the application environment of -196 ℃.

    Why Choose Low-Temperature Globe Valves?

Lipin's low-temperature globe valve is made of low-temperature resistant materials, suitable for extremely low temperature working conditions. It achieves smooth or closed valve operation by rotating the valve seat. The power switch of the oil circuit board is lightweight, reliable in sealing, compact in structure, convenient in maintenance, and the sealing surface and curved surface are often enclosed, making it difficult to be washed by substances.

    About Lipin Low-Temperature Globe Valves

    • Valve Body Type :
      Globe
    • Valve Body Material :
Cast WCB, LCB carbon steel (general application), forged A105 carbon steel (general application), 304/316 stainless steel, low temperature alloy steel LCC, LC1, etc.
    • Valve disc material:
When the valve body material is ordinary carbon steel, the valve disc material is usually CR13 series martensitic stainless steel (American Standard 410 and 420 stainless steel) or higher grade alloy. When the valve body material is stainless steel, the valve disc material is usually made of austenitic stainless steel (American standard SS304, SS316) that is not lower than the valve body material or a higher grade corrosion-resistant alloy material (Hastelloy, Monel) , Inconel alloy) etc.
    • Valve stem material:
Valve stem material is basically the same as the valve disc, unless there are special requirements.
    • Seat sealing surface material:
Cladding stainless steel and cladding hard alloy (STL).

    About the Application of

    Lipin Low-Temperature Globe Valves

The sealing surface of the low-temperature globe valve is difficult to be damaged or scratched. During the valve opening, the sealing surface between the piston valve and the seat does not slide relative to each other, so the damage and abrasion of the sealing surface are relatively small, and the service life of the sealing pair is improved. The relative height of the globe valve during the entire closing process is relatively small.
