High Performance Butterfly Valve

High Performance Butterfly Valve
Optimized Flow Control
Introducing High Performance Butterfly Valves
High performance butterfly valve is also known as double offset or double eccentric butterfly valve. In addition to being able to withstand liquids and gases, our high performance butterfly valves have a fire resistant construction. High performance butterfly valves are widely used for throttling control and often perform well in applications with constant pressure drop or slow process cycles. They improve valve utilization in throttling applications offered by standard butterfly valves, while providing excellent performance and more precise flow control. In addition, they provide long-term positive bidirectional turn-off functionality in control and on/off applications.

Why Choose Lipin High-Performance Butterfly Valves

  • Good sealing performance
Lipin adopts the most advanced technology in the world: PTFE seal adopts "lip teeth" shape self-sealing structure; The hard seal adopts "U" shape elastic seal. The sealing structure has a long service life and is reliable.
  • High working efficiency
When closed, the valve plate expands outwards to achieve the peripheral seal state; When opened, the valve plate and the seal ring quickly separated, effectively prevent the seal ring wear; In this way, the operating torque is reduced, and the working life of the valve is increased.
  • Stem blowout design
Lipin high performance butterfly valves are equipped with additional stem fixtures to provide additional stem protection. The packing gland and stem blowout step interact to secure the stem firmly in the valve body.
  • Strong versatility
The connection with the pipe adopts flangeless clamping type. Structure length: Soft seal adopts GB12221 medium series (ISO5752 medium series code: 20) Hard seal adopts GB12221 long series (ISO5752 medium series code: 16). Therefore, the valve has strong versatility and interchangeability, and is in line with international standards.
  • Large flow capacity
Lipin high performance butterfly valve has large flow capacity, small flow resistance, and the flow diameter is greater than the flow diameter specified by GB12238. The flow channel basically has no shrinking cavity, which is convenient for pipeline cleaning and self-cleaning. It is more effective when the fluid is turbidity, low viscosity with suspended particles and fiber media.

Key Components of High Performance Butterfly Valves

The High Performance Butterfly Valves mainly consists of the following eight parts. This component ensures that the Butterfly valve remains efficient and stable during operation and maintains a zero leakage record.
  • Valve Body
The primary structural component that forms the flow path for the fluid.
  • Disc
Located inside the valve body, it controls the flow of fluids.
  • Stem
Connects the actuator to the disc, allowing for the opening and closing of the valve.
  • Seat
Works in tandem with the disc to provide a seal, preventing fluid leakage.
  • Actuator
Whether a handwheel, gearbox, or electric/pneumatic actuator, it's the mechanism used to drive or 6.operate the butterfly valve.
  • Seals
Ensure that there's no internal fluid leakage from the valve.
  • Travel Stops (or Stopper)
Prevent the butterfly valve from being overly opened or closed.
  • Bearings
Reduce friction between the stem and the valve body, facilitating smoother operation.
  • Advantages of

    High-Performance Butterfly Valves

    • 01
      Strong high-pressure resistance
The special metal bellows design gives the valve overall high strength and rigidity. This allows the bellows globe valve to withstand many extreme conditions such as high pressure, high temperature and external impact.
    • 02
      High-temperature working conditions
Corrugated pipes have good elasticity and deformability. This allows the valve to adapt well to thermal expansion, contraction, vibration and other deformations.
    • 03
      Zero leakage design
The bellows is connected to the valve stem through welding, which can form a double seal with the packing, truly achieving zero leakage.
    • 04
      Reduce maintenance costs
There is no need to replace the filler frequently, and no additional material and labor costs will be incurred.
    • 05
      Stable system operation
When replacing the packing of the traditional packing stop valve, the operation of the production line needs to be suspended, thereby causing losses, but the bellows stop valve does not need to replace the packing.

    Why Choose High-Performance Butterfly Valves?

Compared with conventional butterfly valves, the opening torque of conventional butterfly valves is large, and the valve plate and sealing ring (such as rubber) are "torn" during the entire opening and closing process, resulting in large operating torque, short service life, and low sealing reliability. The high performance butterfly valve is developed to meet the needs of the rapid development of the automation industry. It is an automatic control valve with long life, high reliability, high temperature (hard seal), high pressure, high frequency of use, adjustable and disconnecting. In recent years, its coverage in metallurgy, chemical industry, electric power, textile, food, pharmaceutical, paper and other fields more and more extensive.
